As a special service to our members, the CBIA has teamed up with the California State Contractors Legal Network ("CSCLN"), a legal referral plan with a panel of attorneys throughout California and Nevada who specialize in representing contractors in business, litigation and insurance matters. Benefits for CBIA members through the CSCLN include the following:

• "Free" 30-Minute Telephone Session with an Attorney: Opportunity to consult with Panel Attorney for up to hour per legal dispute/question at no charge.
• Document Review regarding Legal Dispute: In conjunction with initial telephone consultation, Panel Attorney will review of up to 8 pages of documents at no charge.
• Initial Demand or Response Letter: Preparation of letter on Panel Attorney's letterhead for a flat charge of $75.
• Reduced Hourly Fees: For Members only, Panel Attorneys agree to reduce regular hourly rate by 25% for any work after initial consultation and letter.
• Annual Legal Updates: Based consultation requests from the preceding year, an annual newsletter to Plan Members prepared by Panel Attorneys addressing most commons inquiries and legal developments affecting the construction industry
